Great hidden gem in South MS!! We like to park on the north entrance and walk over the the hiking trail down to the bottom of the canyon. If you are up for one of the best scenic routes in all of MS, be sure to follow Hwy 587 north towards Monticello. You'll think you've traveled to the winding hills of some northern country as you zig and zag this hilly stretch of road. Very light detour for anyone traveling to Jackson from the coast!
